DrinkleMall is home to Bridges Art Movement (BAM). Each month BAM hosts a different downtown artist in residence at Drinkle. These shows are always surprising and fun and a great way to support and learn about our amazing local art scene. The mall is also home of Audra Balion Art Sanctuary where you can see the amazing artwork of Aura Balion or participate in her many classes and events. Many of Saskatoon’s great art galleries are concentrated nearby downtown including: Art Placement, Rouge Gallery, and SCYAP. Saskatoon’s main gallery, the Remai Modern Art Gallery is just five blocks away. And if you like street-art, Drinkle3 is the center of the street art scene for YXE with our biggest-in-Canada “no-rules” public art-wall. It’s actually more than just a wall, because we managed to convince most of our neighbors in the alley to participate. Take a walk around Drinkle3 and you will see great local street artists alongside famous international wheat paste artists from London, Paris, New Orleans, Rotterdam, Amarillo Texas and more.
